The Omni Shoreham Hotel offers resort-like hotel accommodations in Washington D.C. Located in the scenic Rock Creek Park, this luxury hotel is near the National Zoo and is only 1 block from Washington Metro subway system which will take guests to such attractions as the Capitol Building, White House, the Smithsonian and the many museums and monuments along the National Mall. A Washington, D.C. landmark hotel since 1930, the "grande dame" of Washington has played host to many of history's notables not to mention every Presidential inaugural ball from Roosevelt to Clinton.. Even with its historic past, the hotel features all of the luxury the 21st century has to offer with an outdoor heated pool, state of the art fitness center and over 100,000 square feet of meeting space. Outdoor pool that is closed seasonally starting November 1, 2008 will reopen Spring 2009

Deluxe rooms offer a variety of bed types that include 1 King bed, 2 Queen beds, 1 Queen bed, 2 Double beds or 1 Double bed. This suite features a kitchen with limited appliances, large dining room that can accommodate up to 8. The living room has a couch, overstuffed chairs and a coffee table. The library also has a couch and coffee table. The bedroom has one King bed. The suite also has a CD player, fireplace, balcony and oversized bathroom.

The Ghost Suite must be booked directly with the hotel. This suite has all the amenities of a Deluxe room and features 2 bedrooms, each with a King bed, an oversized bathroom, a kitchen with limited appliances, a large dining room that can accommodate up to 8 comfortably, a living area with a couch, overstuffed chairs and coffee table. The library also has a couch and coffee table. The suite also has 5 telephones, a balcony, and a jacuzzi.
