The Alpine House, a cozy 22-room European style Inn including a full breakfast served each morning, is located in the heart of Jackson Hole. Century-old timber beams and a warm spacious interior inspire a unique atmosphere. Rooms with individual gas-lit fireplaces, televisions, private balconies and deep soaking tubs are available. Our Scandinavian style rooms and suites, along with our library, spa treatments, Finnish sauna and an inviting outdoor hot tub make this inn a traveler's favorite. Whether seeking an active vacation in some of the world's most pristine outdoor settings or a quiet way to restore your spirit, The Alpine House will both delight and soothe. Guests will enjoy an extensive complimentary chef-prepared breakfast served each morning in our sunny dining room. An espresso bar, impressive wine and beer list and evening snacks served at the relaxed Viking Bar will help you wind down your day in the mountains. The Alpine House is ideally located in the town of Jackson, just a short drive from Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, Elk Refuge and World class Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. If you don't have a car you can catch the bus a few steps from our front door. The town of Jackson is the home of great shopping, over 35 art galleries and museums, a wide variety of dining that is all located just 2 short blocks from the Alpine House. Innkeepers Hans and Nancy Johnstone created The Alpine House with the idea of personal service and casual elegance in mind. This is a warm and peaceful inn, and they strive to make their guests feel both at home and pampered.

Cancel Policy

Reservations must be cancelled at least 14 days prior to arrival date to avoid a penalty of the full stay plus tax. No-shows are charged a fee of the full stay plus tax. Exceptions may apply during holidays, special events or conventions.

Guarantee Policy

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. A deposit of 50pct of stay is required and will be charged at the time of booking. Exceptions may apply during holidays, special events or conventions.

Room Information

The Original rooms are what the Inn started out with before we expanded. These rooms are located above the Kitchen area and look down to the dining room. These rooms DO NOT have televisions or air conditioning. The rooms have heated tile floors, queen sized beds and private bathrooms. No rollaways allowed. Sleeps 2. *The Original Rooms are located in the older section of the Inn.

The Standard Queen Rooms are in the "newer" section of the Inn. These rooms have 1 queen size bed, private bathroom with tub/shower combo or a shower ONLY (there is no guarantee). All rooms have gas lit fireplaces, televisions, air conditioning and French doors to a leaning balcony. No rollaways allowed. Sleeps 2.

The Grand King Rooms are our largest and most spacious rooms we offer. These rooms are on our 2nd and 3rd floors. All rooms have 1 king sized bed and room to move around. Rooms have private baths with deep soaking tubs, gas lit fireplaces, televisions, air conditioning and French doors to a leaning or private balcony. No rollaways allowed. Sleeps 2.
